Holiday Hosting with Batten Home

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

From traditional holiday decor to a simple yet elegant tablescape, prepping for holiday hosting can be both a lot of fun as well as a little stressful. If you are like me, you might take weeks to prepare and have lists upon lists to make sure everything that needs to be done gets checked off.

Some of my lists this year include holiday menus, bar items that need to be restocked, new tableware to purchase and the replenishment of any broken or chipped wine and drinking glasses. It seems pretty simple but being able to check items off can alleviate so much stress, especially during the holidays when there is always so much to get done. This year we are hosting both Thanksgiving and Christmas, along with our annual holiday party so having everything written down is that much more helpful.

When starting on my lists each season, I like to begin with the menus. They help to set the scene, determine what tableware and serving pieces are needed, and what bar items should be stocked. I am excited to have been able to partner with Batten Home to include several of their decor and serving pieces in our home this holiday season.

This beautiful ripple carafe and the coordinating drinking glass sets compliment our everyday home decor while making a huge statement on our table. Add water and fresh cranberries to the carafe for a festive holiday refreshment. The ripple collection by Ferm Living is mouth blown with a beautiful ripple effect that adds a modern and elegant touch making them perfect for any tablescape or bar.

Another Batten Home item that’s perfect for holiday hosting is the teak sild tray. It’s lovely herringbone pattern emphasizes the wood grains and makes a statement in and of itself. It is a beautiful centerpiece that can be used both as a cutting board and serving tray. And what is a tablescape without serveware? This beautiful modern brass serving set is perfect for salads and all of your serving needs.

I hope the tips I have included in this are of help to you this holiday season, whether you are hosting for one or for many.

Wishing you a happy holiday season!
