Entryway Makeover With AllModern

With fall approaching and the world slowly opening back up, it is the perfect time to refresh our entryways to create a welcoming space for family and friends. In partnership with AllModern, I am excited to share how we gave our small entryway a simple and modern makeover to make the space feel more inviting.

One foundational piece I like to add in entryways is a large mirror. Mirrors help to reflect light throughout the space and can make even the smallest entryway feel a little more open. The Lansing Round Metal Accent Mirror with the brass frame was the perfect compliment to the new brass light fixture and really stands out with the custom wood bench.

Another great piece to add to any entryway is a bench. Entryway benches serve as the perfect landing pad for bags while offering a place to quickly sit and take off or put on shoes. In small spaces benches can double as table top storage for plants, catchall dishes and more. Adding a basket beneath the bench for shoe storage and help to declutter the floor space.

Lighting is a not only for brightening up a space but can be also be an eyecatching piece and conversation starter. We have gotten so many compliments on the Croaghbeg 3 - Light Sputnik Sphere Chandelier and I plan to add an additional one to our mudroom in the near future. The 3-light fixture with globe bulbs turns this dark entryway into a warm and inviting space.

Having a small footprint, finding the right rug for our entryway was a bit of a process. We wanted to make sure that what we put into the space would hold up over time with frequent foot traffic and fit the style of our home. The Ava Brown/Beige Area Rug checked all of the boxes in our search. With its neutral tones, multiple sizes to choose from, and being made for both indoor and outdoor use, this was the perfecta area rug for our space.
