One Room Challenge Week 3: Ch...Ch...Ch...Changes

Ch...Ch...Ch...Changes. Okay, so maybe not that many changes have happened during week 3 of the Fall 2018 One Room Challenge. Side note, I am also just now realizing that I use these song lyrics quite a bit.

Now, back to what you came here for! The updates...

Little visual changes have actually taken since last weeks update and I mean VERY little. So, what has changed?! The trim has been primed and has a fresh first coat of paint, our orders have started arriving, and we are planning an epic painting weekend. We are counting down to Saturday where the trim will receive coat #2, the ceiling will be painted a fresh white and we will paint the walls. Holy cow, that is a lot of painting.

One of the bigger changes made this past week in our master bedroom makeover was with our bed. After I placed the initial order for the metal framed bed (seen here) I felt like something was missing. It's not that we didn't like the bed that we initially chose but we wanted a slightly different look to the space. After some deliberation I cancelled our order and placed a second one for a bed that seems more us and more like the space we set out to create even though it was a bit over budget. We want our space to be a cozy retreat from our girls, work and house projects. The metal that was going to be brought into the space through the bed just didn't seem all that cozy to us. We are so happy with our decision to select a different bed and I can't wait to reveal what we ended up purchasing!

As always, don't forget to follow along each week to see the progress of each of the Featured Designers and Guest Participants!
