One Room Challenge Week 6: An Update

It’s WEEK SIX of the Spring 2021 One Room Challenge!

There are only two weeks left until reveal and the reality is, we will not be finished. After hitting multiple snags we are finally running smoothly again but outside circumstances are having us move a little slower than we would like. The good news is that we finally have a working tub!

This past week was all about plumbing for the tub and shower, building the nook for our shelves, and finishing up the drywall. We still have a ways to go with the drywall but the first coat of mud is done and fingers crossed, this space will be primed by the end of the upcoming weekend.

At this point, our project is less about the one room challenge and more about taking the time to create the space we planned. Renovations take time and we don’t want to rush through this.
