Modern Bathroom Reveal
When we fell for this house, we fell hard. We saw potential in each room and the dated bathroom was no exception. Aside from our wood floors, the first floor bathroom has seen the biggest transformation yet. You can check out the before photos here. It is nearly complete and I couldn't wait to share! From the shiplap wall to the large subway tiles surrounding the shower, this project has definitely been a labor of love.
As with all projects, we hit a few snags along the way including trying to find just the right vanity to work with our radiator and plumbing but the custom table with hairpin legs turned out to be the perfect solution (at least for the time being).
From the start of this project, the inspiration stemmed from the gorgeous basketweave tile flooring that is original to the house. The tile was in excellent condition and we couldn't have been happier with keeping it. This led to us planning a black and white themed space for a clean yet classic look that would fit our 1930s cape.
