One Room Challenge Week 4: Progress

Well, hello week four! This week of the Spring 2019 One Room Challenge was all about playing catch-up…

We finally finished up all of the drywall and immediately started mudding. It has been quite the process. There are so many angles and corners to work around that it is more difficult than we expected, but I guess that’s why they call it a challenge. When all is said and done, if I never drywall and mud again it would still be too soon.

Sanding started early in the week, and a lot of progress has been made but we are not quite finished yet. We hoped to have the space primed and painted by now but are not disappointed by where we are currently at. It has been a learning process and the curve has been steep.

While painting may be held off for a few more days, we are far enough along to start picking out decor and accessories. It has been so fun to start checking items off of the list and we can’t wait to begin the finishing stages of the half bath in the final two weeks.
